Shell Cove Capital has been established to capitalise on the trading, operational, financial and commercial success gained by the executive team over a period of 25 years.

Richard Jenkins Chief Executive and C.I.O.

Richard’s career spanned 22 years at Macquarie Bank where he successfully traded a wide range of financial markets, including Bullion, Foreign Exchange, Bonds and Equities. Richard was responsible for the formation and management of one of the bank’s most profitable divisions, during a time when Macquarie became Australia’s leading and most profitable investment bank. Richard developed a highly successful operation which was at the vanguard of developing new and innovative derivative products across a wide range of financial markets. Richard was an Executive Director of Macquarie Bank, a member of the Executive Committee and his roles included Head of the Bank’s worldwide equities proprietary activities, Head of Institutional and Retail Stockbroking and Co-Head of the Investment Bank . Richard is a Responsible Manager under Shell Cove’s AFS licence and a member of the Compliance Committee.

Paul Brech C.F.O.

Paul worked for Coopers and Lybrand in the UK and Japan specialising in financial services prior to moving to Australia with them in 1989. In 1996 he joined Macquarie Bank’s Equities Group as financial controller prior to being appointed a Division Director. In 2000 Paul became the Business Manager for the Equities Markets Group where his responsibilities included risk management and the establishment of new businesses. Paul joined Shell Cove in 2004 as a founding shareholder. Paul is a Responsible Manager under Shell Cove’s AFS licence, a member of the Compliance Committee and a member of the AIMA Education Committee in Australia.
