What is the Black Marlin Fund?
Funds management is the key strength of Shell Cove Capital Management. Drawing on the decades of experience, SCCM has honed the focus of the Black Marlin Fund. The fund now concentrates on identifying small and emerging companies, usually unlisted, that are in the early stages of producing goods and services. Each one of these small, dynamic interests are expected to develop a broad appeal in their industry segment. Since focusing on this strategy, the fund has had one asset disposal that yielded a return in excess of 300%. The fund currently has 5 investments and usually holds a well-managed cash surplus of around 10-20% of FUM. Each director of SCCM is long term investor in the Black Marlin Fund.
